The fourth session of the Industrial Textile Sub Technical Committee of the National Textile Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Industrial Textile Sub Committee) was established and the first committee meeting was held from April 25th to 26th in Haining City, Zhejiang Province. Li Lingshen, Vice President of the China Textile Industry Federation and President of the China Industrial Textile Industry Association, Yi Xiangrong from the Industrial Department of the National Standardization Administration, Sun Ximin, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Development Department of the China Textile Industry Federation, Ma Yongmei, General Manager of China Textile Standard Inspection and Certification Co., Ltd., Tang Jianping, Deputy Director of the Haining Market Supervision Administration, and Tang Jianbo, Section Chief, among others, Nearly 80 members and observers of the Standardization Committee attended the meeting.
The meeting was first attended by Yi Xiangrong, who read out the reply letter from the National Standards Committee on the election plan for the Industrial Textile Branch. The 4th Industrial Textile Branch has been officially established, with the Chairman's unit located in the China Industrial Textile Industry Association and the Secretariat located in the Textile Industry Standardization Research Institute of the China Academy of Textile Science. Li Lingshen serves as the Chairman, Ma Yongmei, Hu Chun, and Zhang Yun serve as Deputy Chairman, Xu Lu as Secretary General, and Liu Feifei as Deputy Secretary General. The 4th Industrial Textile Branch has a total of 55 members and 8 observers.
Yi Xiangrong emphasized the high importance that the country attaches to standardization work and introduced the key points of national standardization reform, which are stronger standards, better promotion of standards, higher enterprise standards, and more active group standards. At the same time, he also proposed that textile standardization work, as one of the key areas of consumer goods standard planning, should keep up with the pace of national standardization reform and further provide support for improving the quality of textile products.
Xu Lu, Secretary General of the Third Industrial Textile Branch, on behalf of the Third Industrial Textile Branch, summarized and reported on several aspects, including the construction of the industrial textile standard system, standard collection and application, standard formulation, revision and promotion, standard process management and supervision, and international standardization. He also explained the work of the replacement.
Li Lingshen, Chairman of the 4th Industrial Textile Branch, delivered a speech on behalf of the new Standardization Committee, emphasizing the necessity of standardization reform and striving to solve the shortcomings in standardization work from the perspective of "new opportunities, new thinking, and new measures". Furthermore, he made important arrangements for the work of the new Standardization Committee from the aspects of adapting to standardization reform, establishing a new standard system, and improving standardization workflow.
Sun Ximin, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Development Department of the China Textile Industry Federation, gave a special report on the current status and development trends of textile standardization reform.
The conference also commended the exemplary organization (3) and exemplary individual (5) in the standardization work of the Third Industrial Textiles Branch, and issued certificates.
After the establishment meeting, Xu Lu presided over the first working meeting, reviewing and revising the draft articles of association of the Industrial Textile Branch of the National Textile Standards Committee, the draft work rules of the Secretariat of the Industrial Textile Branch of the National Textile Standards Committee, and the draft work plan of the Industrial Textile Branch of the National Textile Standards Committee. The meeting unanimously agreed to adopt the revised articles of association, work rules, and work plan.
At the same time of the meeting, the electronic voting function of the technical committee working platform was also introduced, and three national standards, namely "Fiber layer filter materials for gas purification", "Warp knitted composite geotextiles", "Non woven fabrics and composite non-woven fabrics for automotive decoration", and one industry standard, "Sewn woven non-woven base fabric for hand torn tape", were approved.
